Co-Op Mentor Coach
Conspiring Women Peer Coaching Co-Op member and professioal coach, Brandy Wimberly, is joining our team! She'll be available for pay-as-you-are-able professional coahcing sessions to participants in upcoming round nine, as an alternative to the same offer from founder Jen Walper Roberts. Brandy will also join us for the round nine training to share her experience as a coach and coachee in the Co-Op and share some best practices.

Brandy Wimberly is a change agent that offers leadership, compassion and innovation to communities and organizations. In 2008, Brandy pursued a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and set sights to explore a new career path. While completing her education she reinvented her career by joining the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the Office of Human Resources (OHR)*.
*Brandy is serving as a mentor and coach for Conspire in her personal capacity.
Through education and work experience, Brandy has acquired a unique set of skills that is beneficial for any project she has an opportunity to impress her point of view. She fine-tuned her ability to effectively engage with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic goals. During her federal career, she worked on several initiatives to expand workplace flexibilities, develop systems to monitor senior level performance, and implemented enhancements for HR systems through project management practices. Her exemplary efforts to lead and collaborate with all levels are recognized through numerous OHR and NIH Director’s awards. Thus, earning a position as a Branch Chief in the HR Systems and Analytics Division in the Office of Human Resources.In addition to her federal experience, Brandy Wimberly is a Certified Professional Coach with Empowergize U, LLC. In 2014, she became the founder of Empowergize U, because she is a firm believer in empowering a person’s ability to redefine their reality. The company utilizes her passion for helping people believe they can realize their life’s purpose through creative goal setting. Over the past six years, she facilitated workshops and information sessions to various populations that include adults and adolescents. Most recently implementing a program using the concepts developed from Empowergize U in a corporate environment to cultivate organizational cultural change. In one on one coaching relationships, Brandy serves as a strategic thought partner that offers a sounding board to support clarity in decision making.
Over the years, Brandy blended her passion for organizational development and program management to coach and mentor forward thinking professionals. Those who have had the pleasure of working with Brandy would say that she is an intuitive listener that can capture the thoughts of her clients and reframe them in a way that sparks thought into action. Brandy’s unique style of coaching leverages her humor, honesty, and intuition as she encourages participants and employees to produce unprecedented results in their organizations and personal relationships.
