Autumn Retreat
Leadership development Objectives
Participants will deepen their awareness of their core values, personal mission and vision, and the big questions that are looming about leadership, career, and all aspects of life. Set three goals to achieve through the course of the programme and transform them into well-formed outcomes.
Mindfulness Objectives
Participants will gain an understanding of the core principles of mindfulness and will practice techniques that open up a new space at the retreat and for the entire institute. The mindfulness practices taught at the Autumn retreat will support the deepening awareness work described above, and will help participants become aware of how they typically operate (auto-pilot) so that they can make room for living and leading with intention and choice instead.
Coaching Community Objectives
The first retreat sets up participants to extract maximum value from all the coaching elements of the program. Each member will have a dedicated peer coach (a co-conspirator) each quarter, monthly group coaching called the Board of Director's Meeting (BOD) and opportunities for one to one private professional coaching and mindfulness training. The autumn retreat establishes group norms. Through a series of one to one structured conversations, members get to know each other through the lense of their values. This teaches coaching skills of reflective listening and listening for values. The participants will take part in a practice Board of Directors meeting so that they are prepared to conduct their group coaching sessions between retake treats. Finally, members will be trained on how to prepare for any coaching session to make the most of each session (including co-conspirator calls, BOD sessions and professional coaching/mindfulness coaching).

Spring Retreat
Leadership development Objectives
This quarter is focused on intentionally shifting habits and relationships to allow the most high-impact leader within each participant to emerge and to put habits to work to achieve team goals. Using material from Duhigg’s the Power of Habit and Rubin’s Better Than Before, participants will identify two keystone habit to focus on shifting between the Spring and Summer retreats. A keystone habit is one that has a ripple effect on all areas of life, including satisfaction at home and effectiveness as professionals. Participants will also identify organisational habits to influence to improve outcomes. We will shift into work on relationships; Participants will also choose from two relationship maps - an influence map or an inspiration map - to develop a plan to all of the inner work on mission, vision, strengths, and habits into action.
